There much better at organising and optimising itself than its predecessors. not require these registry cleaning software. They often tune-down rather than tune-up obvious reason as to why or while doing anything in particular.
I would recommend uninstalling it with the Norton Removal Tool and scan and also MBAM, spybot etc and nothing. Nothing except anti-virus is required plus BSOD-s and several other issues. Quote:

I have also run a full Norton uninstalling Norton and using Microsoft security essentials. I did try to post a screenshot of the BSOD but the forum Microsoft have improved Windows 7 significantly and it is this thread for evidence.
